Figurator was created by RESHIMU Studio as a structured thinking practice for personal inquiry. Its method combines close listening, narrative attention, pattern recognition, careful questioning and provisional interpretation. It was shaped through repeated conversations and real cases, with one governing principle: you remain the authority on what fits your life.
How is Figurator different from simply opening ChatGPT?+
A general chatbot is designed to answer almost anything. Figurator is designed to stay with one unresolved human question. It does not rush to advice, summarize you into a label or manufacture certainty. It gathers context, returns to concrete moments, tracks recurring signs, tests competing interpretations and invites you to correct every hypothesis. The difference is not only the model. It is the stance, method and discipline of the conversation.
Can I bring texts and images?+
Yes. You can bring letters, journal entries, messages, photographs, documents and other fragments that may matter to the question. What can be read from a file depends on its format and your ChatGPT plan. Figurator treats material as evidence to explore, not as proof of a single interpretation.
Can Figurator help with family or genealogical research?+
It can help organize family stories, compare accounts, notice recurring names or themes, formulate research questions and connect personal material. It cannot independently establish historical truth. Genealogical claims should be verified against archives, records and reliable sources.
Who can see what I ask?+
The creator of Figurator cannot view your individual conversations. Your chats and uploaded files are processed and retained by OpenAI according to your ChatGPT plan and account settings. On personal Free, Plus and Pro accounts, conversations may be used to improve models if “Improve the model for everyone” is enabled. You can turn it off under Settings → Data Controls. Avoid sharing information you would not want processed by the platform.
Is Figurator therapy, diagnosis or emergency support?+
No. Figurator is a reflective thinking partner, not therapy, psychological counseling, coaching, medical care or diagnosis. It cannot determine who you are, know another person’s intentions or make decisions for you. If you are in immediate danger, severe distress or at risk of harm, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.
